NTTA Tax Group

Text Message (SMS) Policy

Effective July 2026 · NTTA Tax Group, Santa Clarita, CA · (661) 554-4495 · Alex@nttaxgroup.com

1. Scope

This policy covers every text message NTTA Tax Group sends. We run one SMS program today — internal new-lead alerts to our own staff from our toll-free number +1 (844) 482-6473 — and this policy also sets the terms that will govern any client-facing text messaging we offer. We send text messages only to people who have expressly agreed to receive them. Consent to receive text messages is never a condition of hiring the firm or buying any service.

2. Messages we send today: internal staff alerts

When a prospective client submits the contact form on nttaxgroup.com, our system texts a short alert from +1 (844) 482-6473 to the phones of firm staff so the inquiry gets a same-business-day response. Example: "New lead: Jane D, (661) 555-0100. Wrote: I have a question about payroll for my small business."

These alerts go to NTTA Tax Group staff only. This number does not send text messages to clients, prospective clients, or the public. Submitting our contact form never signs you up for text messages — we respond to inquiries by phone call and email.

How staff opt in

Before a staff member's mobile number is added to the alert list, they complete and sign the firm's SMS Alert Consent Form (Section 6). Signed forms are kept on file by the firm, and only numbers with a signed form on file receive alerts. Staff alert frequency varies with inquiry volume.

3. Client text messages

If we offer text updates to clients — for example appointment reminders, document-request reminders, or status updates on work in progress — the following terms apply:

  • Express opt-in only. A client receives texts only after giving us their mobile number and expressly agreeing to text messages for a stated purpose (in writing, through a form with clear consent language, or through the client portal).
  • Service messages, not marketing. Client texts are limited to servicing the engagement: appointments, document requests, and status of work. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages without separate, explicit consent for that purpose.
  • Frequency varies with the work in progress. Message and data rates may apply; rates are set by your carrier, not by us.
  • Opting out never affects service. A client who opts out of texts gets the same information by phone or email.

4. Stopping messages, getting help

Anyone receiving texts from us can stop them at any time:

  • Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving messages. One final confirmation message may follow, then nothing further.
  • Reply HELP for help, or contact the office at Alex@nttaxgroup.com or (661) 554-4495.
  • Opted-out numbers are removed from the relevant list. Opting back in requires a new express consent.

5. Privacy of mobile numbers

Mobile numbers and opt-in consent records are used only to send the messages described in this policy. No mobile numbers or SMS opt-in data are shared with, or sold to, third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Message content and personal information are handled per our Privacy Policy.

6. Staff consent form

This is the form each staff member signs before their number is added to the internal alert list.

7. Changes to this policy

If our messaging programs change — for example, if we begin sending client text updates — we will update this page before the new messages start, and collect the required consent first. Questions about this policy: Alex@nttaxgroup.com or (661) 554-4495.
